Discorporated sex has some disadvantages, but has some terrific advantages as well. It allows people to break out of self-imposed limitations and to let imaginations run free; when the individuals emerge from the cyber world and return to the flesh they can be very much the better for it. It transcends distance; it may now allow all that flesh-to-flesh contact does, but if the flesh you want to be in contact with is a few (or many) thousand miles away, it can provide a thoroughly luscious alternative. One wouldn't want to be solely dependent on it, but that's true of most things.

I wouldn't want to say it's better than a good medieval-style rut in the roadside grass, but it can be pretty damned good. Certainly far more satisfying than some of the arguments we all get into.

Anybody out there up for a cyber-orgy? With close to 400 new posts on this thread when I turned it on today (most, alas, will go unread), that has to be about all that hasn't happened here.
