Larry, BYND is a pure Internet company. PROG is not, selling most of their product through conventional means.

PROG's pricing policy will not hold-up to Internet competition. They sell at only a small discount to retail. Their customers come to them because they have everything in one place, and offer a small discount on many products that could otherwise be bought only directly from the manufacturer at full price. But the Internet changes this formula.

Internet sales growth of 500%? When was their first year of Internet sales? That's not tough if it's their second year, and they started late in 97. :)

I've bought from Programmer's Paradise for years, but these days if I can get it cheaper somewhere else (which I almost always can) I will go elsewhere. I now only buy the speciality items from them that I'd otherwise have to pay full retail to the manufacturer.
