All,
Interesting except for the claim that selling bunches of sub 1000s machines build desirable mindshare that translates into users upgrading into more expensive units. I don't believe this... why should anyone upgrade when sub 1000 machines are getting cheaper and cheaper all the time and they become richer with features. If anything more of us are moving to getting more cheap machines that work 3-5 times faster than older Pentium and Pentium Pros for $500-700.
