Mega Wednesday shaping up for MRVC ...
All info here is pure speculation on my part, and of course, imho:
The technology advance here, (100-fold increase in the speed of IP protocol connections by routers, {tech-speak-simplified: the connecting devices which bring the whole world of Ethernet drivers, Token Ring drivers together, to connect a set of 2 or more networks together i.e. which enable the creation of the "I"nternet from billions of isolated "i"nternets} ) is so significant and is so close to the heart of CSCO, that, it seems almost a given to me that, John C. will be asked about this development in his CC after the CSCO's earnings this Tuesday. A slight possible hint from Him (He is really like "H"im and not "h"im I feel :-) ) that "He is interested" or that "He liked what He's seen" will be immediately interpreted by the analysts as "MRVC is on CSCO's radar screen" and as usual, CSCO's cc will be broadcasted heavily by the media that evening! Implications: I expect a super-bull Wednesday for MRVC this coming week! The issue will immediately transfer itself once again into the darling of the "street" ... the status it has enjoyed until Aug'98! And if the momentum takes over then, only sky is the limit for MRVC. [Also note that, on a couple of occasions in the past, Cisco has announced small acquisitions on the day of the press release ... and its so stunningly mighty and beautiful that, these acquisitions had never bothered its price in the past. In fact, they boosted it later ... as everything they do is considered as Great only by the street ... and CSCO has never disappointed its holders in this decade. And, also note- CSCO up 74% in the last 3 months alone, has a lot of easy paper with which to acquire anybody! :-) ). The fun has just started for MRVC I think.
