TEMECULA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 29, 1999--Auto Service
Junction Inc. announced that it has signed a contract with Solutions
Media Inc. to bring its coast-to-coast client's auto service records
to the Web.
Clients created and potential franchisees will use the service to
track their auto service history and help them plan for future
maintenance. There will also be an e-mail notification system that,
based on customer history, will notify the customers of their upcoming
service needs and appointments.
Now, if a user gets his oil changed at Auto Service Junction
regularly, the customer goes across the country on a road trip, the
service history of that vehicle will be available via the Internet.
Auto Service Junction services around 4,500 customers for each of
their locations. Local businesses in the surrounding areas of each
Auto Service Junction will help offset the costs of managing the
system by buying advertising on the e-mail reminder system.
"It will be a great addition to our Solutions Media Marketing
Engine. Customers all over the country will receive e-mail
notifications based on their service needs, appointments, and special
offers. Solutions Media's other clients and online stores will get
advertising coverage in every e-mail that goes out," stated Wayne
Irving II, president of Solutions Media Inc.
Under a three-tier project model, Solutions Media is building an
application interface for convergence technologies to be run on cable
set top boxes, and eventually HDTV.
Solutions Media is expected to be publicly trading later this
year as a credit to their help from Peacock Financial (OTC BB:PFCK -
