Daniel,
You don't owe me anything, but you basically called me a nut last week when I told you Jordan would be indicted.
Thus, I would have liked you to adress the Lewinsky-Jordan testimony conflict, and the obvious conclusion that Jordan will likely be indicted.
Anyway, I certainly accept your offer of a civil debate, and I thank you for the 2 pieces. They are indeed interesting, but one has to wonder why people opposing impeachment are so insistent on helping the Republican Party avoid the pitfalls of the impeachment debate.
By the way, I am not a Republican, I am not a Democrat, I am not a Libertarian. I just think for myself and do not much like when others try to think for me.
I am passionate on this impeachment issue because I cannot stand lawyers who try to tell you the earth is flat in order to gain sympathy with people who are ignorant of the facts, or the law. It just repulses me, because I see it as the root of a decadent political system.
I often travel to countries where corruption is rampant, and each time, I see for myself its horrendous effects on the well being of people there. The US has a responsibility to the world of maintaining its political system as free of corruption as it can.
I don't know who started the Paula Jones case, and it would not make any difference to me if it were a political trap. All I know is that people in Government owe it to the people they govern to be respectful of the law, in the United States more than anywhere else.
