Zeev - For CYMI to start and fly, we need to see new fabs announcements.
Certainly new fabs would be good, but unlike most other SEMI companies, Cymer has a fairly low penetration rate at this point. For instance, in contrast, all existing fabs already have generic strippers and etchers, many of which are good for another year or two. If the fabs just go through and replace the equipment to upgrade to less than 0.18u, then I would not expect Lam, Applied et al to do as well as they were in fall of 97. After all they are only replacing gear. But even in that scenario, Cymer has to both replace gear and add a bunch of new sales. If you are claiming Cymer will be flat, then you are also claiming that Lam et al will not even get close to what they were in Fall 97?
