Like many stocks that have fallen from grace on wall street, SMOD will have to prove itself for years before it will stop being subject to constant downward pressure from rumors between EPS releases.

Look at the price patterns of AAPL and VSIO to see what I mean. VSIO in particular demonstrates incredible weakness between earnings. AAPL also tends to succumb to rumors and speculation between earnings dates.

I believe that if SMOD continues to post good earnings and growth, the stock will generally move forward, although it will be volatile in between.

With current earnings projections, SMOD is well worth its price right now, so I will hold until I have a factual reason to believe that earnings will be weak. Given the strength of the sector right now, any SMOD weakness in financial results would definitely be a reason to sell in my book.

If you can't do well when the semis are doing well, then what are you going to do when semis slump again?
