Ron,
What I really CAN'T UNDERSTAND, is that how can someone who has
no supposed interest in gold, spend so much time trying to express his lack of interest on this thread!!!!!
I can barely find time to catch up on some of the posts and I have a true belief in the precious metal.

Oh, and here are a few of my reasons for wanting to see the price of gold rise to some point of balanced representation versus fiat
currencies...
1) it may signal a return to normal investing values - normal P/E's, not something in the range of 2000.
2) it may signal some return to rational apprecitation of the value of money, whatever the form...
to expand:
- athletes making 14 million a year and still complaining
- million dollar lawsuits for spilled cups of coffee
- billion dollar taxpayer bailouts
3) it may signal the return of moral and family values - where
a lying, perjuring and (I believe) murderous president won't have
an approval rational somewhere up near the Pope's.

- Jim.
