Mike, I don't understand where you get the idea that PC sales are down? AMD and Intel were sold out last quarter. Maybe I'm not looking at the right numbers. I'll see if I can find some of your old posts but I'm more intrigued about the statement: "if my info is any good at all, and that defector will be located in Austin" Well, Dell has already defected, they are making an Alpha based server. Now, if Dell is going to make an AMD based computer I'd sure like to here about it, public, private whatever. I do know that they are impressed with the K7 but that's a June launch at the earliest. I've read the excuse for Dell vis a vis selling more business computers and thus missing some Christams sales relative to Compaq but I'm not sure I see proof of that. Also... If I remember right the gains in sales came more on a worldwide basis. Jim
