OT - Re What does Nostradamus have to say about Y2K?

Nothing that I know of, but you have to remember that several hundred years ago, as he was staring into his bowl of mercury and inhaling the fumes, he would have great difficulty explaining much of what he was seeing, much less know what a computer was. He would have recognized the effects of Y2K, not the cause.
Subject to persecution and death, he scrambled the order of the Quatrains and used anagrams to confuse. This leaves his Quatrains open to a great deal of after-the-fact interpretation. However, in one quatrain (below) he was extremely specific about the date ... I guess we can only wait for July to see what (if anything) happens.
X.72 July 1999, the World War III shall begin.

COMMENT: In July 1999, the World War III or to be precisely, the European war shall begin as the Chastisement from God. Like Mongolians of old, the invaders shall come from the East (Russians and Muslims) to Europe and they shall be merciless and brutal.
