Steve

I am considering trading stocks and options for a living (I know!).

I need to clear about $45K per year to meet my retirement needs. I own an apartment complex which produces a very nice income, but I still have four children at home and need the extra money for a few more years. My occupation as an instrumental music teacher for 27 years has begun to wear on me.

I had the good fortune to invest in a small company (IAUS) whose stock went from $.50 to $57.00 in a year. The stock will become free from 144 requirements in March. It is currently trading around $7. I am considering using that stock as collateral for margin trading.

I would like to know from all of you "professional" traders how much money you think would be required to earn the $45K on an annual basis, year in and year out--especially in a bear market.

I have been following the various threads for several months and have really gained an appreciation for your various styles. Also, I have listened to and attended some of Wade Cook's seminars and am currently reading Fullman's book, Options, A Personal Seminar.

Thanks in advance

Tom
