In commenting on this development, Bud Prentice, president of Applied Computer Technology/WEBAccess, stated,
''WEBAccess chose InterShop's state of the art e-commerce technology for its robustness, scalability, and demonstrated

and proven track record in the e-commerce service industry will give WEBAccess the competitive advantage to offer
expanded web hosting and development services.''

''Strong regional service providers such as WEBAccess are becoming increasingly important for bringing electronic commerce
to a mass audience,'' said Al Powell, InterShop's vice president of sales. ''The partnership with WEBAccess will strengthen
InterShop's presence in online communities who leverage their services to match access customers with regional businesses.''

In closing, Prentice stated: ''The implementation of InterShop's development tools is an important step towards the realization
of WEBAccess.com. Through WEBAccess.com, the company intends to develop a strong regional community that joins
WEBAccess members and WEBAccess businesses in a shopping consortium. WEBAccess's electronic community will be
similar to those hosted by Xoom (Nasdaq:XMCM - news), GeoCities (Nasdaq:GCTY - news), and Go2Net (Nasdaq:GNET
