A prime example of what we were just talking about. ECHOs 10q:

"Other revenue increased 442.9% for the current fiscal quarter over the same
fiscal quarter last year, reflecting software development work currently
underway for a casino cash advance provider. The Company is in negotiation
with this casino cash advance provider to finalize the contractual
arrangements regarding this project."

ECHO has never had a press release on this. I mentioned it a while back but in no way did I expect to see revenues this quickly.
This is from an EMAIL exchange with Donna Camaras back in June of 97:

Q) From your website " Since shipping the US Postal project, CBC has been active in promoting its EB920 terminals, the RP100+, and the RP120 printers within the financial services community. These devices contain a number of advanced features spun off of our new approached developed for the US
Postal Service. The flexibility of these new platforms provides many new possibilities to our customer base. 1998 is shaping up into an exciting year."

For what purposes are these machines used w/in the financial services community. What success has ECHO had in this regard?

A) The most recurring interest in our systems has been in the cash advance marketplace in casinos. We have several sources actively evaluating the CBC systems for use in this type of environment. We are supporting their interest by providing systems and support as needed but we have also chosen to evaluate other major hardware manufacturers for possible faster and more directed applications...the one we have been most interest in and working with for several months is
Schlumberger, a French terminal manufacturer. We feel they have a terminal/printer combination that would work well in several environments we see. So, CBC's equipment has value and interest and we will continue to work to promote it but we are also becoming more of a systems integrator
and not feeling like we have to be the manufacturer of the equipment in order to fully and quickly meet a customer's need.
