Well we know how you spent your weekend.

Good thing your wife calls you to dinner or we'd still be reading your drivel.

If you had read any of the 'announcements' you scrounged up you'd have noted that NONE of these are in production. Why don't you make it a point to follow up with these three and see if they stay on schedule and budget.

<JDEC has hundreds of large UNIX implementations>

Not true. Name ONE in production. You have NOT YET DONE SO! If this stuff was so easy to implement and worked so well you'd would expect there to be LOTS of them after being in production for a year with their stuff. But it isn't going well on the multi-tiered UNIX front for JDEC, is it?

Funny how Solaris is so clearly absent. Guess Sun is just not an important platform to JDEC. Just another flash in the pan UNIX vendor so why bother. Especially when HP gave them such a good deal on equipment. Gee, how does that impact their IBM relationship, HP as a primary development platform for UNIX? More clear thinking from the Open Systems Industry applications leader, JDEC.

No users don't care about OS or DB, until they try to make the app work and then lots of folks start to look under the covers. I've been under the covers of their UNIX implementation. You have not.

Now if you want to be useful to this thread, explain in detail your profound understanding of the decline from $49.75 to present levels. By the way, the $49.75 was at the worst of the NASDAQ drop last year and here they sit at $20 and change during the NASDAQ all time high. How funny!

I do agree with you on one count. JDEC could scale to 5000 users. That would be 5000 users with 3 minute response time...

And if you want to read my jokes, you know where to find them. You persist in posting yours here ;)
