Is Gentex an Internet play? Stay with me for a second. I read an article this weekend about all the newfound wealth that Internet IPO's have created, not only for the founders, but for the employees of the company, for bankers, for investment analysts, and for individual shareholders who have invested or traded their way to riches. There really does seem to be a significant percentage of the population that has moved up a class or two in wealth. So, with all of that money, those people are now easily able to afford higher quality lifestyles, which includes upgrading your automobile. And what will these BMWs, Lexuses (Lexi?) and Explorers have on them? Gentex EC mirrors! In all seriousness, this IS probably one factor which puts the wind at Gentex's back and shouldn't be dismissed out of hand. Turs
