I suppose "liberal" became a bad word about the same time "conservative right" became an evil word. You know how the pendulum swings.

I did not necessarily mean that you were inherently bad because you are liberal, just commenting that saying you are a liberal in Austin is like saying you live in Denver and root for the Bronchos today.:o)

Although being liberal in Austin did not help much in the last state election did it? Bush pretty well carried the state away for the GOP.

I feel he might could do the same in a National election with Mrs. Dole in either role of pres. or vp . That would be cool . Mrs. Dole as pres. for 8 years ,,with Bush as VP , then Bush for 8 years following that. Could it happen????
