Jim, re: CPU ID - Just program 00000 <...duh> Listen, the CPU ID is inserted at final test by programming on chip eeprom cells that are an extension of the CPU ID register. (CPU ID is a part of all x86 cpus). Intel could "delete" the unique serial number on PIII parts merely by not programming the new bits in the first place... No MASK PROBLEM... No expense to change it... Jeff
