My boys are too old for furbies, thank goodness. I went through heck to get them every Power Ranger toy they wanted, only to have their interest evaporate in what felt like days. That was the only craze that I got suckered into.

I just got back from serious net-surfing, trying to find someone with a web site offering semi-precious beads like I saw on ebay, and struck out. I was intrigued by some that were being offered by a Thai company, thought that maybe I could find a web site. Maybe ebay's strength is having the computer geek stuff taken care of, all you need to do is send photos and text. The company I was interested in did have an email address, so I would probably just deal with them directly, and cut ebay out of it completely.

You probably wouldn't believe the mark-up on gems, they are marked up hundreds of times what the stones cost in Thailand, or Africa, or wherever.
