Scott:

Check out the Rydex Fund family. I know that one of their funds positions itself to move in the OPPOSITE direction of the market as a whole. I have given up trying to time the market. I am only 26, so I am a long-term investor. I would much rather buy in and add to my position on dips in a stock. My philosphy on a good stock is go LONG, buy on DIPS, and when the market CORRECTS, buy more...I fly by the seat of my pants, but my four DRIP stocks are up 60% since July of '96. A much better return than my mutual funds.

Looking forward to your response.

Michael
