Notes from Annual Meeting.....
by: IEatToast 503 of 503
Here are some of my notes.....

*Co. is expecting 50% growth from Tech. programs & Systems this year, 40% from Power Conversion, and 50% from I-Bus.....

*Co. has recently invested about $4 mil in stock buybacks, and another $4 mil in automated manufacturing systems.....

*Maxwell has over 2,800 active leads of co.'s interested in their technology and 700 different co.'s that are currently evaluating their products.....

*Co. is seeing new commercial opportunities in flash x-ray's thru their Physics Int. division.....

*recently demonstrated a radio controlled car fitted with 2 ultracapacitors to a toy co.'s executive, and doubled its speed and power.....

*Co. is now offering its Phoenix Power products thru its I-Bus catalogs.....

*They are putting together strategies for an IPO roadmap for different parts of the Co......

*Commercial space business is a new exciting area for the Co. They can actually fix exact problems for satellites while they are still in space. They have done this type of work for the military for years and are now going into the commercial arena, which is 2x that of the government market.....

*current manufacturing space is 2.5x that of last year(250,000 sq. ft vs. 100,000 sq. ft).....

*Polaroid was listed as a client on one of their slides. I don't recall any announcement involving them, and maybe this could be new business.....

The presentation itself was done superbly by Tom Horgan. I certainly didn't see anything negative.....

Best regards to everyone.....

T.
