Well, of course there needs to be a Whitewater investigation! Personally, I'm in favor of instituting a National Service Requirement for younger Americans under which all Americans, upon turning 18 years of age, are required to give 2 years of national service in the Whitewater investigation. (And no weasely education or ROTC deferments either!) Democrats, liberals of all stripes, and conscientious objectors may satisfy their service requirement by spending 2 years in prison with Susan McDougal. The vilified Independent Counsel Ken Starr will be re-commissioned as vilified 5 Star General Ken Starr. Chief Justice Rhenquist will be asked, but not compelled, to give his advice on uniforms, ribbons, service medals and the like. This, I humbly submit, will bring the Rule of Law to the possibly criminal Whitewater felonies and bring back Morning in America once again.
