FTEL Frank Peters (Chairmans message on web site) clears up a few loose ends relative to the USAT relationship. Feb. 1, 1999 I have had investors calling wanting information about one of our customers. Here is what we know and have permission to say: 1. USAT has been a customer since first FQ last year. Our FY starts July 1. 2. We have shipped many systems to them and have installed and continue to build and manage a substantial network for them. 3. This network, as is the case with many of FTEL equipment users, is connected to FNet. 4. They pay their bills on time in cash, often, in advance. 5. We have not ever been paid in stock or anything but cash. (Cash means checks, all of which have cleared without problems in U.S. dollars). 6. We also have other large customers who consider their business proprietary and we respect their privacy. As we continue shipments of the Tempest, I can tell you to look forward to new product announcements, March 2, at the CTI show in Los Angeles, which will excite you and confound the competition.
