Re Borland.com I have to agree with Mark Abelson on this one.. The ecomerce site is really bad. If they are going to try and pander to the investment community as an e-comerce player, they are going to have to look it. Here's what I mean by that: Have Borland products and sell other things too, complementary products. Sign marketing agreements with other software companies. Zap up that web site. Have a "checkout" system. Sign a marketing agreement with Amazon.com...We'll link your books if you'll like our software. Hell, just have a press release that states you have a marketing agreement with Amazon.com. Start counting and bragging about increased web traffic. Give away a Borland Starter CD, with evaluation copies of everything. If the current www.borland.com site is what they are talking about as borland.com, it has all the sex and appeal of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on plain white bread.. Dennis
