Greta, Based on an explanation that I saw on another thread, when we see "(CoffeeShop)" next to a person's name, it means that the person is a trial member and is allowed to post only on Coffee Shop threads. Also, only full members see "(CoffeeShop)" next to the trial member's name (the trial member doesn't see "(Coffee Shop)". And it could be that trial members can't send PMs. I send an e-mail to the webmistress suggesting that an explanation of this confusing situation be posted on SI's Home Page. I got a response saying that they (SI) don't know what I'm talking about . . . Go figure. . . . smile Justin
