BII is not the only company "burning" a lot of cash in their efforts to grow the company business: SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 1 (Reuters) - Amazon.com Inc Chief Financial Officer Joy Covey said on Monday the company expected higher sales in the first quarter than the strong, holiday season sales posted in the fourth quarter just ended. Covey said the company sought more than $1 billion in new financing last week because Amazon decided, "We've been thinking too small here."
