Royal Pictures Announces February 1st As The Start Date For It's Motion
Picture Project -- 'Calle Ocho'

Total Gross Domestic Potential - $50 Million

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Pictures, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: RPIX) announced today the start date for its motion
picture project "Calle Ocho" (Eighth Street). Principal photography will
begin February 1, 1999.
"Calle Oche" (Eight Street) will be filmed simultaneously in English and
Spanish. Both versions will be simultaneously released on the American
screen. To our knowledge, this has never been done before. "Calle Ocho"
(Eighth Street) will reach areas of the attending audience previously ignored
by Hollywood, but with Hollywood production values and quality.
It is anticipated that arrangements will be made for the film to be
released on over 1,000 screens in the United States and Canada alone, giving
it the potential for gross domestic revenues of $50 million.
"Calle Ocho" (Eight Street) will star Maria Conchita Alonso, and co-star
Willy Chirino, who will also score the movie and produce the soundtrack album.
Negotiations are being completed with Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos, and
Latin superstar Ricky Martin to star in the film. Joey Giannone wrote the
screenplay and will direct.
The six-week shoot will take place entirely in South Florida. "Calle Ocho"
(Eighth Street) is the first in a series of films to be produced by Royal
Pictures, Inc. in 1999.
Royal Pictures, Inc. is both a multi-dimensional and a multi-faceted
independent film production Company, that plans to develop and produce motion
