Royal Pictures Announces Completed Negotiations For New Motion Picture

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Royal Pictures, Inc.
(OTC-Bulletin Board: RPIX) has just completed negotiations to produce the
motion picture "Smoke on the Water," based on the life story of powerboat
racer and Cigarette boat founder, Donald Aronow.
Final negotiations are taking place with Michael Madsen to play Aronow,
and John Glen (For Your Eyes Only, A View to a Kill, Octopussy) to direct.
Principal photography is scheduled to begin the first week of March, 1999.
The film will be produced by Robert Brent, Larry Spangler and Arlyne Rothberg.

The $8.5 million dollar project will be shot on location for eight weeks
from Miami to Riviera Beach. "Smoke on the Water" follows "Calle Ocho"
(Eighth Street) as the second in a series of films to be produced by Royal
Pictures in 1999.
