>>BII is not the only company "burning" a lot of cash in their efforts to grow the company business<<

Point taken Tiger USA, but Amazon is in a totally different league and business than BII is. It's also THE heavyweight in this sector that would have little or no difficulty in finding additional financing because too many see Amazon as the next "Wal-Mart" on the web and the potential being far greater as they expand their product lines. There are also many investors out there that still "covet" Amazon as part of their stock portfolios because they still believe that in the not-to-distant future, Amazon will start to make money like gang-busters! In other words, there is faith in AMZN all around the investment community regardless of the losses. I remember a few weeks back a guy on the AMZN thread was predicting a $25 stock within a week. What a joke that turned out to be as AMZN still remains resilient and people are looking to get in even at these prices.

Do you honestly think BII has the same clout as AMZN or EBAY in this industry in which money will grow on trees for them regardless of how they "burn" cash? BII is small fry compared to these U.S. companies and has less clout to raise financing to the same extent if the companies numbers don't start turning around. I doubt any major U.S. or Canadian investment bank is going to throw money at an operation that doesn't have anywhere near the market share that the heavyweights do, regardless of their grandiose plans for expansion etc.
