Well, I was wondering if you had to use your credit card, so I guess you do. See how ignorant I am?
Sometimes I think I would like to buy a porno mag or book, but I have no idea where I would hide it, and I know I couldn't buy it. When I was a teenager I would read it standing up in the store, there was a drug store that had some mixed in with the regular stuff, and I would pick up a book and carry it to a "safe" location where I could read it without horny men breathing on me. Later, I used to walk into porn stores, and then when the guys all looked at me, I would chicken out and turn around and walk right back out. I did buy some a long time ago, at a magazine stand that mostly sold non-porn, and when I was checking out, I saw someone I knew, just another guy in law school, and every time I saw him in the hall I could tell he remembered, and I was embarrassed.
I simply could not give a place like that my credit card number. No way. Unh-unh. What if someone who knew me saw it? |
