Kaiser; I wonder if you might be missing the real importance of the IDBEF CPT TB testing advantage. I sure could be wrong, but it seems that the real advantage to their type of testing technology would be to identify the resistant strains of TB - similar to what they are doing with the antibiotic resistant strains of hospital bacteria. If they have to grow a culture anyhow, there would be little time saving in the TB test, but OTOH, the time saving of knowing that you are dealing with a resistant strain would be significant. VGIN has recently had great results marketing their DNA testing for HIV. They test for the resistant strain of HIV, which then determines which of the medicines to use. VGIN has been red hot lately. Appreciate your comments on this thinking. Steve
