Are you watching this? wwfn.com Looks like someone invested $25 US in Russia. No big problems to report, so possibly no interest rate fears. I really can not see Greenspan saying anything other than "Hold the course" and "Steady as she goes" - But something happened this afternoon, and I still haven't put my finger on it. How long do you think it will be until the Smart Money does it's cyclical shift out of the Comm Tech sector? We've seen this before, in the second half of last year when this sector took over a 30% hit. Since Nov 3, the top 20 that I track are up, as a group, 72%. I don't want to come out and predict the sky is falling or anything, but it is just when I start to feel pretty good about my high tech investments, on the average, when WHAMMO! The long term holdings get a hair cut. I also seem to recall a nice run up into earnings, and getting that empty feeling within 2 weeks after earnings several times last year. Oh... it's late, and I already went to sleep once tonight. I've presented some of my inner thoughts, and I could be way off base. jtc
