To All,

I'm new here. Came over from the boring semi-equipment sector (up only 20% so far this year after the dive) to see what all the excitement was about. (Okay, so I live in a cave.)

Was at Fry's (a BIG electronics discounter) in Manhattan Beach, CA on Sunday. Saw a ton of Zip drives (50-60 for PC, 20 or so for Macs) at $200. No Jazz. Some EZ 135s. In the two hours I was there, I didn't see a single person stop to look at the Zips. (I wanted to talk to a buyer, not the pushy sales guys.) After reading some of your postings here and the hype on MF, I expected a queue in front of the display. Maybe everyone in the area already has one?

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but to me, slowing sales = slowing earnings growth = slowing stock price gain. (Then again, California trends aren't necessarily indicative of the trends in the rest of the world. And this "new paradigm" thing may have some merit.)

Nope. Don't own any of the stock, yet. (I'm not a shorter either.) Am kicking the tires now and trying to get past all the hype. Just sharing my 2¢.

Tony
