It's a tossup who deserved the MVP. Both Elway and Gordon made championship caliber plays. So did Rod Smith's catch, which was a one handed grab. Some other receivers may not have made that catch. If the game had been closer, Gordon definitely made the two MVP plays. Nevertheless, it was a glorious game for the Broncs. For sure, the big and sharpe mouth guy deserved the pregame mvp considerations. He took some pressure off everybody else.
