In some areas, M1 has rolled out Internet access using the cable for downloading and a telephone line for the return path. I believe the purpose of this tactic was to get the service rolled out and subscribers signed up before the network upgrades had been completed in that area. It's a stopgap measure, but for many people it's still better than regular telephone line Internet access.

The AT&T - TW deal was on the front page of the Boston Globe this morning and the article stated that AT&T is in talks with M1. I think we'll continue to move up as news of this latest development sinks in.

Customer service could be an ongoing issue. They are upgrading the network and rolling out these services as quickly as possible. It may be a while before adequate resources are in place to support their rapidly growing customer base.
