Leading Simulations Software Company to Launch Internet Store

MONTEREY, Calif., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Thinking Tools, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TSIM), the pioneer in software products that realistically simulate complex business challenges, announces plans to launch the ThinkingTools.com online store.

"As the world leader in business simulation software, we are experiencing world-wide interest in our products and expertise. We are attuned to market trends and our customers' needs, therefore we plan to provide a web-based venue for Think 2000, Project Challenge and other current as well as future products to make them easily accessible for purchase online," said Thinking Tools CEO Moshe Zarmi.

Thinking Tools' products provide captivating software solutions that invigorate tedious tasks such as project management, employee training and development of legal, contingency and risk management plans for the Year 2000 and beyond. As a result, Thinking Tools' products allow companies to play out strategic plans, enabling them to identify and respond with risk free simulation that shows the potential impact of any major decision before it is implemented.

Zarmi added, "By making our products available online we will enable customers around the world to download our software, import their information and visually identify where their operations are vulnerable. Having a store online will make it easy for managers in every organization to get the tools they need instantly."

Zarmi said that the need for Thinking Tools' products extends beyond Year 2000 efforts. Previous estimates for Year 2000 costs were $600 billion dollars for remediation and $1.3 Trillion for the legal activity that will follow. The latest study released by Gartner Group now estimates that companies will spend in excess of $400 billion dollars AFTER January 1, 2000 finishing remediation and developing contingency, risk and legal plans. Thinking Tools, Inc. is poised to capture a good portion of this market.

"No one can predict the impact of the Year 2000 conversion efforts," said Zarmi. "Companies that have already completed their Year 2000 remediation phase continue to show high interest in our products. They want to know what risks might occur, what contingency plans to put in place and how to prepare for potential legal exposure. Our software is the only impact analysis simulation software on the market to provide these capabilities."
