My previous post did not reflect this line of thought at all.

The last two world wars started in Europe because of the inability of the inhabitants to stop their self installed leaders/dictators from starting them. Yes it is true that the fundamental idea of the EU is anchored on "Unity" and as such very suitable to prevent future wars in Europe.

But what the original three founders of the EU envisaged is not what Europeans are served with today.Today the war scenario is nothing but political fog being utilized by politicians to advance their never ending lust to get into the peoples pockets with the purpose to line their own.

Well paid and competent bureaucrats, the work horses of the elected will always be embraced by the electorate HOWEVER if the elected appoint intent fully corrupt or incompetent commissioners, their "work horses" in turn will deliver what the commissioners want them to deliver.

Not what the elected promised the electorate before they received in return, the power to appoint.

Surely that must sound familiar?

I can not tell you what the EU has stuffed up because I have no access to their modus operandi, their file cabinets or their pockets.

Use your PC for what it was designed for and inform yourself. As long as you don't get lost and start missing yourself you will be informed.I guarantee you.

I have never stated that the EURO is or will cause financial disaster.I have said that the introduction phase of the EURO as a world currency, on the day when handed over to the people on the street, will cause a temporary disaster of magnitude because .........read it again and I am sorry for my mediocre English.
