Dbc is making good efforts to improve the L2 and get rid of these old symbols. For instance TSCO yesterday, that mm changed their symbol and as soon as I told the QA Dept. about it they purged the old TSCO entries from the L2 servers. It should be gone today I hope. Informing them about any old entries you see can only help get rid of them.
