Good morning Chip and all

First things first

A note of thanks to everyone on this thread for their contributions. As I went through the posts since I logged off yesterday evening, I noticed that the content has gradually evolved and now more closely resembles the original purpose of this thread. I remember in early days when Patrick and I would basically post our trades -- and not a whole lot else. We now have people suggesting approaches that they have found useful in trading the futures as well as individual trades.

Chip, what I was trying to say was that even when there are support levels whether based on the forks or any other approach, when there is strong momentum in a particular direction there may be a violation of support/resistance -- the issue becomes one as to whether it is a temporary violation. So when the momentum is strong in a particular direction one needs to allow for this factor in terms of entry as well as where one places stops.
