i think there's a misunderstanding of what a split really is here and among many of the investors that have been buying the techs lately. i'm not gonna try to explain cause no one listens but i suggest picking up an intro accounting book. splits don't do anything is the point. i get a kick out of watching stocks go up when the company announces a split. it has nothing to do with authorized shares. a company is NOT ISSUING SHARES by doing a split.
