RBB: <Your reference to "momentum" investors> The article you posted also talks about the possibility of split related investors, being essentially ---"momentum" investors. My reading of the relative trading action of dell, relative to the other major stocks---my own intrepretation of it---is that these are new long term institutional investors, who are making relatively major and new committments to the stock, long term. This is one benefit of actually looking at price action in real time, for long periods of time. These charts then "speak" to you. It can usually increase your profits, as well as make it easy to pay any of the resulting taxes. And also, this is very easy to do from a laptop, so more and more people will find it convenient to get into this. My laptop is oriented strictly to trading, and is (of course) easy to take to consultants, when I want my software tuned up. If more persons realized how simple this is all is, as well as how convenient, many would enjoy more managine their positions in Dell, to include more so called "trading". Some "Trading" is not some evil thing. |
