Dang you Keith! :)

I had .97 on the pre-open and I got jumped! Paid a bit more and may buy even more still.

This news is HUGE for TVL. I've been following TVL for about a year now. There has been an ongoing debate whether their technology would be accepted or not. Well with Sharp, one of the biggest television manufacturers out there saying that they will be using TVL technology in all their new sets, they have not only received a major source of cash flow, but even more important I think, a major endorsement from a huge manufacturer.

Read the release carefully. Some of the key points are:

<<<Sharp Corporation of Japan has signed a letter of intent to licence Tri-Vision's patented, flexible V-gis v-chip technology for use in new televisions>>>

<<<Nichimen Corporation has been actively involved in extensive licencing discussions for Tri-Vision with many TV manufacturers in Japan, Asia and Europe. The licencing discussions with the major television manufacturers continue to progress well.>>>

<<<In accordance with the U.S. Telecommunications Act of 1996, the Federal Communications Commission has mandated that from Jan. 1, 2000 all televisions sold in the United States, with a picture screen 13 inches or greater, must be equipped with v-chip blocking capability. Between July 1, 1999 and Dec. 1, 1999, an average of 50 per cent of TVs available for sale must provide v-chip blocking. >>>

I'm absolutely thrilled that TVL has pulled in SHARP!! Simply put, a MAJOR step forward for the company.
