Okay, first topic for discussion. The Gabelli site shows the closing price for the fund as on Jan29'99 to be $13.76. I assume that this is the underlying value of the assets per share just like all the other funds. But.... the closed end fund was trading on the NYSE at about $12 on Jan29. Have I just received a share of the basket at a 12% discount? What does this say about the fund and about investor confidence in the market in general?
