Hi Geek Stuff,

Your thoughts are appreciated. I realize many of the threads have overlapping subjects. However, in the back of all our minds is the possibility that one day, when you are least expecting it... you won't be on candid camera, you will be in the middle of a bloody crash with your retirement, college and vacation plans going down the old tube-a-rino.

I would like to hear what indicators people have... even if it is bat wings and eyes of newt... my favorite is the call/put (yes, you heard right) ratio of the open interest of equity calls vs index puts. The last couple of major sell-offs the ratio has risen to over 5.0 within weeks of the minor big ones. That ratio has been there, dropped, been there and is there now.

So that is one of mine... what is yours?
