C.K., thank you for the link to the source of the rumour, none other than S.I.'s favourite paid stock tout, John Westergaard. I searched the reference he cited (Information Week) but could not find anything that supported his statement. Given Westergaard's view of "truth", From: #reply-2089673 "Truth" is not the issue. People can say whatever they want but in my view they should reveal their motives. I suspect that the story has the status of an "urban legend". Somewhere there may be Y2K problems with valves. However I am still waiting for a verifiable reference to valves that must be replaced because of an attached defective "motherboard". Al
