Mike, Hi!!! RE: My broker says "get diversified!" I quickly point out that Dell stock is not the only thing in my portfolio.... I also have a lot of Dell option calls! Rock on! I hesitate to give anyone in particular the credit for this quote...but, during the shareholders meeting this past July we discussed the role of diversification...especially since Kevin Rollins had said to us at the meeting : " Diversification away from Dell is the most expensive form of insurance he has ever known" I believe Patrick and David were tossing around the concept with JBN3 that Dell was a little of everything in technology...think of it...don't you "own" MSFT....INTC....WDC or QTNM....SONY...etc. if you own DELL??? And not to mention owning an internet stock tooo...IMO DELL is one of the original internet stocks...and their earnings in this area prove it... Furthermore ....why own something that has conquered the world and has fierce competition?? XON comes to mind...this is how I got my dad to swap his life long holding of XON for DELL.... DELL is in the process of conquering the world and is only 9% of the world wide market...they have an unstoppable marketing strategy....the finest leadership in the world....And, with an opportunity to grow more today than when I first purchased Dell three years ago this month....the ocean is larger...the opportunity is greater...Michael has repeatedly told us this...once again...another reason to believe... DELL IS THE NEXT...............DELL Best, kemble
