Chuckie, Maxam will use ion exchange resins to take up the precious metals (100 ounces of precious metal per cubic foot of resin). The resin is eluted with thiourea and is then regenerated with HCL for repeated use. The metals are then chemically reduced. No plating or parting at MXAM.
