This is a blanket statement that is not always correct.

Made in USA does not have the same meaning as it did years ago.

Today "Made in USA" often refers to Intellectual Properties,
Management and Marketing/Distribution Control of products.....not always to manufacturing (foreign sourced labor). For this Americans have a very good world reputation in technology.

The US has an political environment where (technology) companies are
permitted to flourish more than in other countries.
