Did you ever think to check out the rumors that Apple and RealNetworks were going to announce an alliance with QuickTime 4? This puts Shockwave in a bit of a situation.

QuickTime 4 is supposed to be quite remarkable at streaming etc.

This news has been circulating everywhere and it causes Macromedia holders to get a little nervous. Sold most of my MACR at the high and will buy back when it hits the low. February 22nd is supposed to be when Apple announces QT 4.

Macromedia should counter with an entry into the QuickTime space and my guess is they are working on it right now. Now you know why I tout THW on this site. I think Macromedia should acquire THW before someone else does.

Own everything that does interactive content and you can't get blind sided so easily by the competition.
