Why doesn't the Southern States Power PR mention Bat at all????
I guess they are embarassed.

The BAT PR said their fuel cell was kept low profile. I'm sure you'll fill the board with double talk concerning BAT's "breakthrough technology" and since no one has ever heard of Anuvu (India origin) you can make up anything you want.

Southern States Power Has Been Approved to Trade by NASD

SHREVESPORT, La., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern States Power Company
(OTC Bulletin Board: SSPC - news) announces that it has been approved to trade by the NASD as a publicly-traded stock on the Over the Counter (OTC) exchange. Its stock symbol is ''SSPC''.

Southern States Power Company (SSPC) was formed in March, 1998 to
provide lower cost electric utility services to consumers in states that are deregulating gas and electric utilities. SSPC is combining
distributed generation power technologies with energy efficiency
assistance programs to provide a comprehensive package of services that will result in highly reliable, lower cost electricity for industrial, commercial and residential customers. SSPC has subsequently expanded business activities and formed several Divisions and joint ventures to enter into composite auto manufacturing, ''green fuel'' production and fuel cell development and manufacturing, (for more information see our web site at www.sspowerco.com).

SSPC Automotive Division is involved in a broad array of automotive
technology development and manufacturing. New manufacturing processes
for composite bodies and shells allows for production of lightweight,
highly durable vehicles at a fraction of the normal tooling cost for
vehicle manufacturing. SSPC is also developing a variety of drive trains for vehicles including electric, gasoline, diesel and propane vehicles. SSPC is presently producing a ''mini-hummer'' style ''Rhino'' and is in the final development stages of introducing a new composite pickup truck. Two plants are involved in manufacturing in Baja and Sinaloa, Mexico. Southern States Power Company anticipates rapid growth in its Automotive Division as a result of production of automobiles, licensing of auto technologies to other small vehicle manufacturers world-wide and other activities.

Southern States Power Co. and Anuvu, Inc. are also 50/50 partners in
Global Fuel Cell Corporation, which is developing and will soon be
manufacturing an advanced fuel cell that is lighter, more compact and
delivers more energy than other competing fuel cells. The near term and long term production costs are much lower than other technologies, which will allow Global Fuel Cell Corporation to bring this fuel cell to market in a near term time frame. This is expected to result in a zero emission vehicle that has equivalent range and life cycle cost versus a gasoline vehicle. Demonstration runs are planned with a fuel cell powered mini-van in the next several months.
